The Kantha Byredo leather goods line features one-of-a-kind pieces of art, at the crossroads of engineering and craftsmanship. A modern take on Indian ancestral Kantha embroidery technique, the Kantha business card holder’s uneven and high-tech machine sewing is finished by skilled artisans in our hand-picked Italian workshop, with each stitch cut and knot by hand. The result is that each finished piece is distinctly special and genuinely unique.

Hybrids mutate into functional sculpture in a new collaboration between BYREDO and the Benoit Lalloz studio. Taking inspiration from the insect world and transposing it into bold industrial design, experience, form and function intersect with the INFRA LUNA 2.0 desk lamp, the second collaboration between Ben Gorham and Benoit Lalloz. Originally specialised in architectural projects, Lalloz has expanded his scope, now producing his own objects that reflect a personal quest for design that melds the innovative with craftsmanship and the industrial with poetic narration.

In a hybrid project combining scent and sculptural light design, the surprise is visual but also olfactory. Playing with temperature to release the scent of the candle placed underneath - the heat from the lamp’s halogen bulb melts the candle wax - has a spirit that is part lab, part installation. Creating a gentle halo of light and an additional halo of scent, the INFRA LUNA 2.0 is as inventive as it is intriguing.

While the silhouette of INFRA LUNA 2.0 is shaped by a technical, raw identity, Nature also writes this story. To enter into the world of Entomofauna, or bug life, is to enter into a world of vibrant colour. Here iridescents and fluorescents redefine our perception of what is natural, offering a kaleidoscope of vivid metallics.
